Associate Veterinarian:
In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to a variety of animals. - Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
- Induction of anesthesia, intubation, and anesthesia monitoring, including intra-operative and post-operative care
- Perform dental prophylaxis
- Provide nursing care, including wound management and fluid therapy
- Filling medications and client education regarding medications
- Educate pet owners on post-treatment care and general animal health
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure a clean and sterile environment in the clinic
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Veterinary Technician
- Strong technical skills in laboratory and diagnostic procedures, dental/surgical and anesthesia
